Approved Workshop Habitation Checks
Annual habitation checks are recommended on all campervans and motorhomes with manufacturers recommending that their motorhomes and conversions have an annual habitation check.
As well as ensuring the vehicle is safe to use, we maintain and test all appliances and functions of the van to make sure it is working as it should. As an Approved Workshop, we carry out the habitation check-inline with the National Caravan Council (NCC) guidelines, giving you the peace of mind that all aspects of your campervan are checked correctly.
If your vehicle is still within a warranty period, it is imperative that this service is carried out within the time frame specified in order to keep this valid.
Should any issue arise, SJB Customs will contact you with your options and price for repair if applicable. After your vehicle has received its habitation check, we carry out a complimentary wash ready for your collection or for us to deliver back to your home or storage facility.
You will always receive a copy of the three page report carried out, as well as an Approved Workshop sticker and a list of any parts which have been replaced.

Insurance Repairs
In the event of an accident involving your campervan, motorhome or commercial vehicle, SJB Customs can provide the unique service of campervan insurance repair. We will take the stress out of the repair process by liaising with your insurance company directly and ensuring the repair is carried out professionally and safely whilst reinstalling your conversion, including the gas and the rear seating/bed. A full habitation check will be carried out on completion.
